General Indications

The participation in the Pilgrimage is free. However, because of the huge organisational expenses, we invite to offer a free contribution of 10 Euros which can be paid along with the subscription form or directly at the secretary stands at the Macerata stadium. Leaving your address to the Committee you can also receive the magazine  «Amici del Pellegrinaggio» (Friends of the Pilgrimage) for free. Anyone can become a promoter of subscription collection centres. Forms can be requested at the Committee offices or downloaded from this site. The pilgrimage must be experienced in full, beginning with the opening gesture at the Macerata stadium. In order to do the walk as easy as possible we recommend to wear comfortable shoes and to bring an umbrella or a raincoat, a windcheater and hot drinks. Priests are invited to wear purple stole during the walk for the confessions.
